EDSLLC Releases Its Document Solution Service (DSS) for Clients of all sizes
Indianapolis, Indiana, EDGE Document Solutions, LLC announced the release of a new data services feature that allow businesses and educational facilities to automate their printing and mailing functions without investing in on-site software or hardware. The new Document Solutions Service, or DSS, provides all the features available in the Accountant's EDGE, PayMaster's EDGE, and Educator's EDGE systems except all the labor and materials required to print the many document formats available are eliminated. This means considerable savings to the user since the print file typically sent to an on-site print system is sent to EDSLLC instead, eliminating the print, burst, insert, meter and mail functions associated with the typical check and document printing processes.
With DSS, all printing processes are performed at the EDSLLC facility in Indianapolis. Client's may elect to have completed mail pieces returned for their local distribution/mailing or have the pieces commingled and mailed by EDSLLC, in the interest of receiving postal discounts. In either case all of the labor intensive activities are eliminated as well as the need for forms procurement and storage. And the file transfer process is performed quickly and efficiently via secure (SSL) internet connections.
These services are expected to be particularly attractive to smaller clients that find the hardware and software cost to be beyond their budgetary limits. DSS is offered on a transactional fee basis along with a small monthly licensing fee thus eliminating front end purchase for equipment with limited operational use in small shops.
DSS also becomes a very positive option for those Data Centers that struggle with year-end printing and processing of W-2's and 1099 Tax forms. Send the data file to EDSLLC and let the printing experts do the printing, folding and sealing and the mailing too.
